ZO® RADICAL REPAIR is a skin treatment containing 1% retinol, vitamins C, E, and A, plant stem cells, glycerin, and herbal extracts. Its formula reduces the appearance of brown spots and other signs of aging, improving skin brightness for a more even tone.

The main ingredient in ZO® RADICAL REPAIR is high-potency, encapsulated retinol, which peels dead cells from the skin’s surface. This ingredient also stimulates skin cell growth and collagen production from within, which can reduce the appearance of age spots, wrinkles, and other signs of aging. The sichuan pepper fruit extract, sunflower seed oil, and rosemary leaf extract soothe skin irritation, reducing inflammation and redness to give the skin a more youthful tone. Moreover, the glycerin and Plukenetia volubilis seed oil fight dryness, using lipids to help rehydrate the skin and restore the skin barrier. Finally, the vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, edelweiss, and Marubium vulgare plant stem cells act as antioxidants, helping to protect skin from damaging free radicals. Together, the ingredients remove dead skin cells, stimulate skin renewal, and protect skin from dryness and damage.

This formula is comprised of cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone crosspolymer, dimethicone, Prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, glycerin, polysorbate 20, water (aqua), retinol, cyclotetrasiloxane, diisopropyl adipate, Plukenetia volubilis seed oil, oleyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, tocopheryl acetate, Helianthus annuus seed oil, BHT, chlorphenesin, Leontopodium alpinum meristem cell culture, Marrubium vulgare meristem cell culture, Zanthoxylum bungeanum fruit extract, sodium sulfite, caprylyl glycol, ascorbyl palmitate, gluconolactone, BHA, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract, sodium benzoate, lecithin, xanthan gum, parfum, tocopherol, ascorbic acid, Zea mays oil, and beta-carotene.

To use for best results, dispense 2 or 3 pumps of this gel onto the fingertips. Gently massage this product into the skin, covering the entire face but avoiding contact with the eyes. At first, the skin may become dry and peel. However, this indicates the retinol is working, shedding damaged skin cells and stimulating new skin cell growth.

If they are not currently using another retinol treatment, your patients should use this solution twice a week, 30 minutes before going to bed, after cleansing their skin. They should gradually increase use of this treatment, depending on their tolerance.

This intensive anti-aging treatment is indicated for use on the face. This product is for external use only and should be kept out of the eyes.

This high-potency retinol treatment reverses the signs of aging on mature, dry skin. If used as recommended, the noticeable effects of this product will last as long as it is being used.

Healthcare professionals may recommend this ZO® treatment to their patients who have signs of aging and sun damage like wrinkles, age spots, and other forms of hyper-pigmentation. The high concentration of this retinol formula targets UV damage and signs of aging. Your patients should not use this dermal solution if they are allergic or sensitive to any of its ingredients. Moreover, individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking prescription acne drugs should not use this product. If your patients have had recent chemical peels or micro-dermabrasion treatments, they should wait at least 1 week before using this treatment.

Retinol is one of the best anti-aging ingredients available to effectively counteract dull skin, age spots, and fine lines. Regular application will leave your patient’s skin looking years younger.

Possible side effects can include skin peeling, dryness, skin irritation, and rash. Some initial dryness, irritation, and peeling are normal, and should develop about three to seven days after your patients first use retinol. However, if your patients develop a persistent rash or irritation after this period, they should stop using this product. The ingredients in this ZO® offering may make skin more sensitive to the sun, so patients should use an SPF 30 sunscreen every day and limit their sun exposure during use at home.
