Our editorial policy page describes the standard all content on this website is held to. This page is about the people holding the standard, through a deliberate, meticulous process.

TEAM SNAPSHOT

Writers: four specialized writers, each assigned with a fixed category of the catalogue, and no rotation between topics

Editorial reviewers: two reviewers with experience in medical publishing, tasked to oversee coherence, tone, claim verification, and best practice principles of online publishing

Expertise: With experience in medical communications and publishing, our in-house staff of writers and editors has been covering this field since 2009

Bylines: Our editorial staff stands behind all content, with certifications evaluated during onboarding

One writer, one corner of the catalogue

Rather than have any one writer cover dermal fillers on Monday and orthopedic injectables on Friday, each person on the staff owns a defined slice of what we sell: one focused on dermal fillers and mesotherapy, one on orthopedic and joint-health injectables, one on professional skincare. The idea is that someone who’s spent years specifically in the viscosupplementation literature can catch things that someone splitting attention across five categories won’t.

This is how our writers work with confidence and attention to nuance.

The two reviewers work across all product categories, reserving a second specialized set of eyes to check for claims, product specifications, and proper citation of the relevant literature.

What the role actually involves

  • Keeping the citation list current. Every source named on a page is their responsibility to maintain, replace, or correct.
  • Settling sourcing questions before publishing. Anything related to where a product originates from or how it’s imported gets confirmed with procurement before a writer commits it to a page. Our writers work in-house, in collaboration with our content manager and web admins, as well as our inventory and sourcing team.
  • Revisiting their published pages. When something shifts in a category they own, either a label change, a new study, or regulatory development, that writer is usually the one who catches it before a scheduled review would.

What is our editorial process

How a draft becomes a published page, how claims get checked, and how corrections get handled are all covered on our editorial policy page. This page exists so you know who’s doing the work, and what our internal team structure looks like.
