Saypha is a collection of injectable fillers that help combat the signs of aging. There are five products in the Saypha collection: Saypha Filler, Saypha Filler with Lidocaine, Saypha Rich, Saypha Volume, and Saypha Volume with Lidocaine.
SAYPHA INJECTABLE FILLERS
Saypha Filler and Saypha Filler with Lidocaine help minimize the look of moderate to severe facial wrinkles, and the latter can even be used in the lips for increasing volume. Saypha Rich replenishes the amount of hyaluronic acid (HA) to deeply rehydrate the skin. Saypha Volume and Saypha Volume with Lidocaine are indicated for providing volume for the face, contour remodeling, and correcting deep folds and wrinkles. The fillers are formulated with hyaluronic acid, and each Saypha filler’s hyaluronic acid content undergoes different degrees of cross-linking.
Hyaluronic acid is essential for retaining dermal moisture and keeping the skin firm and elastic. Over time, environmental stressors such as sun exposure and free radicals may lead to a reduced level of hyaluronic acid. This, in turn, results in a lack of hydration and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Saypha dermal fillers are designed to instantly deliver natural-looking anti-aging results. They are produced using patented Supreme Monophasic and Reticular Technology (SMART), which optimizes the reticulation of the molecular chains to prolong their durability. Saypha hyaluronic acid fillers are manufactured in accordance with CE standards by Croma-Pharma GmbH, a pharmaceutical company based in Austria. Saypha fillers were previously marketed under the Princess brand, and you can still find the Princess masks in our online shop.
What Makes A Good Candidate?
Saypha products are specially designed for adults with glabellar lines, wrinkles around the mouth, moderate to severe wrinkles, forehead furrows, folds and scarring, sunken cheeks, or other signs of aging. The high-performance fillers are recommended for patients who want a safe, non-invasive aesthetic treatment. Treatment with a Saypha filler is fuss-free, simple, and typically completed within 30 minutes. As such, treatment with a Saypha filler is ideal for patients with a busy lifestyle.
Saypha dermal fillers must not be administered to areas of skin that are infectious or inflamed. Apart from that, they should not be used in pregnant or breastfeeding patients or pediatrics younger than 18. Avoid using Saypha injectable fillers in those susceptible to hypertrophic scarring and in patients who have previously had autoimmune diseases. It is not advisable to use any Saypha product in patients who are currently receiving immune therapy. Generally, do not use a Saypha product in individuals with a known allergy to hyaluronic acid or any inactive ingredient of the filler.
Areas Treated with Saypha Fillers
- Dehydrated skin: Hyaluronic acid and glycerol dramatically boost the moisture level of the skin.
- Sunken cheeks: Saypha fillers are perfect for contouring the face and adding facial volume.
- Wrinkles and lines: Saypha Volume and Saypha Volume with Lidocaine can be used to treat deep wrinkles, while Saypha Filler and Saypha Filler with Lidocaine are ideal for the treatment of moderate to severe wrinkles.
- Thinning lips: Hyaluronic acid effectively volumizes the lips for a more contoured look.
How Do Saypha Fillers Work?
Saypha fillers contain a mixture of non-cross-linked and cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Synthesized through bio-fermentation, the hyaluronic acid in Saypha fillers is viscoelastic and monophasic in nature. Hyaluronic acid is abundant in all animal tissues and does not exhibit tissue or species specificity. Therefore, Saypha fillers are not likely to cause transplantation rejection or immunologic reactions. Hyaluronic acid is fully biodegradable and undergoes decomposition gradually to the point where it eventually disappears without leaving any residue.
Due to its hydrophilic nature, hyaluronic acid can attract a large volume of water. As water enters the matrix of hyaluronic acid, a swelling pressure builds up, allowing it to withstand compressive force. Ultimately, this helps to correct the appearance of wrinkles, folds, and other signs of aging. Some Saypha products contain glycerol for enhanced skin hydration. Saypha Filler and Volume come in versions that contain lidocaine as a local anesthetic. Lidocaine induces local analgesia through the inhibition of voltage-gated sodium channels.
Treatment Details
Any pain experienced with the injection process for any Saypha filler is minimal; this is especially true of Saypha fillers that contain lidocaine in their formulation. Injecting a Saypha filler usually takes less than 30 minutes to complete and is performed without requiring surgery. Saypha hyaluronic acid fillers are medical devices intended for professional use. Patients are advised against self-administering Saypha. Choose the most suitable Saypha filler for a client on the basis of the client’s expectations and goals.
For example, if patients want to replace the volume of their middle face, high-density fillers such as Saypha Volume are recommended. A skin test is not required prior to treatment, as Saypha fillers are made with hyaluronic acid that is not sourced from animals. One week before treatment, patients should avoid taking anticoagulants, anti-inflammatory agents, or any other drugs that can prolong bleeding. Patients should avoid prolonged sun exposure for one week after treatment. They should also avoid using makeup use for up 12 hours after a Saypha injection.
How Long Do Saypha Fillers Last?
Saypha fillers are not designed to deliver permanent results. Their effects will gradually disappear as hyaluronic acid is broken down in the body. Repeat treatment to maintain results. With the exception of Saypha Volume, which can last eight to 12 months, Saypha hyaluronic acid fillers can generally last for six to nine months. These figures are only a rough estimate. The actual duration of action of a Saypha filler can vary significantly among patients due to many factors. These include but are not limited to the rate at which hyaluronic acid is metabolized, the patient’s age and lifestyle, product type, and the location of the treatment area.
Safety Information
Saypha injections are generally safe and well-tolerated. They are not known to cause significant side effects. Regardless, Saypha fillers can sometimes cause transient injection site reactions such as swelling, bruising, tenderness, and redness; all of these side effects are typically mild in nature. An ice pack can be used to relieve swelling. These symptoms are mostly self-limiting. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of the potential adverse effects of Saypha fillers. In some cases, unusual reactions other than the ones described here may occur after injecting a Saypha filler. Patients should see a doctor if side effects persist or worsen. For the complete list of side effects of a Saypha filler, read the filler’s package insert.
Recovery Time
Treatment with any Saypha filler is non-invasive, so the recovery time is minimal.
Cost of Saypha Fillers
In general, one syringe of a Saypha filler can cost approximately $330 (or £250).  The unit price of Saypha fillers is different from clinic to clinic. The total treatment cost is determined on the basis of many factors, including the location of the treatment area, the number of syringes required, and the type of Saypha filler used.
