FillmedĀ® M-HA 18 is a sterile, viscoelastic, clear, colorless, transparent, isotonic, biodegradable and injectable gel. This product is composed of non-animal sodium hyaluronate, obtained from bio-fermentation. This range of products are intended for replenishing the loss of hyaluronic acid due to aging. With this formulation, the skin of the face, neck, dĆ©colletĆ©, and the back of the hands may be treated for purposes of rejuvenation. It is designed to be injected into the superficial dermal tissue, preferably deeper, to improve tone and elasticity of the skin and/or to act as a filler to peel away signs of aging, including small lines such as crowās feet, smile lines, or smoke lines surrounding the mouth.

When you inject FILLMEDĀ® M-HA 18 into the dermis, the hyaluronic acid (HA) immediately binds to water within your patientās skin, plumping up to stretch the skin and smooth out superficial wrinkles and fine lines, giving your patients a younger and more hydrated look. FILLMEDĀ® is made with HA that is stabilized to resist breaking down as quickly within your patientās skin.
What are the ingredients?

- Glycerol (20mg/ml)
- Phosphate-citrate buffer pH 6.8ā7.6 q.s.
How long do the results last?
Patients will notice brightening and revitalizing effects that typically lasts about two to six months. Repeat FillmedĀ® treatments conducted every six months to a year are necessary to preserve the results.
What is the expected recovery time for my patients?
There is not associated recovery time with FillmedĀ® treatment.
Important safety tips:
- As injector technique is essential to a successful treatment, the product must be used by doctors who have specific training in injection techniques for filling.
- Do not inject this product in areas with inflamed or infected skin.
- Do not use this product to treat patients who are known to be allergic to any of its components.
- Patients with a history of severe allergies (with anaphylaxis) or a history of multiple allergies should not receive this treatment.
- Do not treat patients with autoimmune disorders, or who are taking immunosuppressants with this product.
- Exercise caution when treating patients who tend to develop keloids or hypertrophic scars.
