Restylane Refyne is an FDA-approved dermal filler indicated to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. This implantable gel is made of hyaluronic acid and is stabilized using proprietary technology that achieves a wide range of gel textures with the same concentration of hyaluronic acid. Since Restylane Refyne uses less free hyaluronic acid than other dermal fillers, there is less chance of swelling. Restylane Refyne produces very natural results, with a study showing that Restylane Refyne maintains movement and expressions after treatment. Additionally, Restylane Refyne has added lidocaine for numbing effect, enhancing your patient’s comfort.
Restylane Refyne is produced from hyaluronic acid that is made by bacterial fermentation, not from animals. The makers of Restylane Refyne use Optimal Balance Technology™ to vary the levels of cross-linking in their different products as well as the particle sizes. This helps to create a dermal filler that lasts longer before breaking down within the skin as well as products that have different applications depending on their softness. After cross-linking their hyaluronic acid, the makers of Restylane Refyne pass the gel through different sieve sizes to get their five different product types.
Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid 20mg/ml
Lidocaine Hydrochloride 3mg/ml
Physiological Buffer pH 7 qs ad 1 mL.
Before beginning treatment, brief your patients on the expected results, precautions that need to be taken, and possible unintended effects. To administer the treatment, either use the sterile needle supplied, or if preferred, a blunt cannula (size 27G) may be used instead. Assemble and prepare the syringe and needle (or cannula) according to instructions. Sterilize the planned area to be treated with an appropriate disinfectant prior to injection. Inject the product using the technique appropriate to the treatment type e.g. serial puncture, linear threading, or cross-hatching. After the injection, gently massage the treated area to distribute the product evenly.
Restylane Refyne should be used to correct medium to severe facial wrinkles in a manner that is natural and subtle, yet noticeable.
Restylane Refyne is primarily used for the treatment of laugh lines, i.e. nasolabial folds and marionette lines. However, this dermal filler is suitable for correcting any moderate to severe facial wrinkles, and for facial redefinition, such as remodeling the cheeks, tear trough or lips.
As you inject Restylane Refyne into the dermis, the hyaluronic acid binds moisture to increase in volume. This volume of dermal filler within the dermis fills in moderate lines and wrinkles, supporting the top layer of skin for a smoother appearance. This gives your patients immediately visible results from their cosmetic injections, and the results will usually last between 6 and 9 months, and maybe even as long as 12 months.
The softness and particle size of Restylane Refyne give it a medium lifting effect. This makes it suitable for treating your patients who have moderate lines and wrinkles, such as the nasolabial folds that run from the nose to the mouth. Since Restylane Refyne also contains Lidocaine, it makes a great choice for your patients who are concerned about pain and discomfort from their cosmetic injections.
Restylane Refyne is a soft, viscoelastic gel that can help your patients achieve smoother-looking skin by reducing the appearance of moderate wrinkles and lines. Clinical studies have shown that Restylane Refyne can do this with less swelling and redness than its competitors. Purchase wholesale Restylane Refyne from Medica Depot to help your patients correct their wrinkles for younger-looking skin.
The most common Restylane Refyne side effects include mild pain, itching, tenderness, skin redness or erythema, and swelling, but these side effects usually disappear within a few days. Contraindications of Restylane Refyne injections include pregnancy, breastfeeding, and the presence of acute or chronic skin lesions. You should also not treat patients with Restylane Refyne who have a known allergy or sensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, or amide anesthetics, who have severe allergies, who have an autoimmune disorder, or who have porphyria. You should not inject Restylane Refyne where permanent fillers or other types of fillers are already present.
