About our Yvoire Product Selection

Yvoire fillers are indicated for the correction of wrinkles, volume loss, and dehydrated skin. They are ideal for patients who prefer a minimally invasive approach to anti-aging.

Yvoire fillers are not suitable for patients prone to hypertrophic scars or patients with a bleeding disorder. Do not use these injectable fillers if your patient has a history of streptococcal disease or anaphylaxis. Avoid using the fillers in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

How does Yvoire work

Hyaluronic acid in Yvoire fillers is composed of varying particle sizes that are tightly packed to create a more natural look. This contributes to the smooth consistency of the filler. Thanks to its moisture-holding properties, hyaluronic acid adds and restores volume to the dermis. This helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines.

Treatment details

Before the administration of the fillers, assess the medical history of your patient for any allergies or chronic diseases that the patient might have. Prior to treatment, discuss the expected results that they are looking for and inform them of any possible side effects that they may experience.

Ensure that your patient has not applied any makeup before the injections. Upon your patient’s request, you may use a local anesthetic.

Ensure that the package is intact and check the expiry date. Sanitize the injection site with an antiseptic solution. Apply pressure with your thumb to push the plunger rod until a small droplet is released. Use an appropriate injection technique to slowly inject the filler into the area being treated. Ensure that the pressure is even on the plunger rod during the injection. If you notice blanching at the injection site, you should stop the injection and massage the area affected until color returns. Massage the injected area after the injection to evenly distribute the gel. Properly dispose of the syringe and needles after use.

It is important to advise your patient to comply with the following restrictions after the procedure to speed up recovery:

  • Avoid touching or scratching the injected site 3 to 4 hours after the procedure;
  • Avoid alcohol or smoking for up to a week after the injection;
  • Avoid direct sunlight and UV exposure;
  • Do not undertake any other cosmetic procedures for about 2 weeks post-procedure.

How long does Yvoire last

The results are instantly visible after the treatment. The fillers can last between 6 to 12 months, on average.

Safety information

Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the human body, so it is unlikely to cause severe adverse events. However, patients may occasionally experience the mild side effects listed below.

  • Inflammation at the injection site
  • Edema
  • Abscess
  • Pain
  • Erythema

These side effects are common after the treatment and might last for a few days. Being self-limiting in nature, the symptoms will eventually resolve themselves. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, patients should see a doctor immediately.

Recovery time

It may take up to a week to fully recover from the side effects of Yvoire. To allow healing, do not exert pressure on the treatment area and limit exposure to UV rays.

Cost of Yvoire

The cost of Yvoire will vary for your patients. It is ultimately up to you to determine the cost. On average, a single dermal filler treatment can cost up to $800. Yvoire can deliver excellent results and is much more cost efficient for your clients. Evaluate the number of treatment sites and the number of syringes needed to properly correct the area in order to determine a cost for your patient.
