Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine offers longer lasting results when compared to hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers; results can last up to a year or more. This product is also particularly suited to correct more severe wrinkles and folds as it possesses better volumizing properties. Supplemented with lidocaine, treatment with this product can now be a more comfortable experience for your patients.

Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine contains particles of synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), which is commonly used in medicine and is a component of bone and teeth. When you inject the filler gel, the particles add volume beneath the skin, supporting the skin and smoothing the appearance of wrinkles or folds. Although the CaHA gradually breaks down within the body, since it had acted as a scaffold for collagen to grow, it leaves behind these collagen fibers to maintain the volume. During the injection itself, the lidocaine in this Radiesse formulation acts as an anesthetic, numbing the injection area to reduce needle pain and discomfort that the patient might feel.

Only qualified medical professionals should inject this dermal filler. To use Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine, first disinfect the treatment area. Open the foil pouch containing the syringe, remove the Luer syringe cap from the end of the syringe, then twist on a 27G needle onto the Luer lock fitting, ensuring it is tightened securely. Be sure to insert Radiesse into the deep dermis to avoid nodule formation and discoloration of the skin, and do not overcorrect. Insert the needle at a thirty degree angle in the wrinkle or fold, and slowly inject the gel while withdrawing the needle, leaving a line of filler. Repeat, adding additional lines until you have the amount of augmentation you need. Gently massage or mold the implant to help contour the skin. Refer to your Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine leaflet for complete instructions.

Doctors, such as plastic surgeons and dermatologists, use Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine to reduce the appearance of facial folds and wrinkles. This dermal filler can act as an alternative to rhinoplasty or other plastic surgery as it corrects imperfections with a needle in an in-office procedure. Traditionally, doctors have used Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine to correct lipoatrophy, also known as facial fat loss, in HIV patients.

Radiesse is used in the treatment of facial wrinkling. This can include the nasolabial folds between the nose and the mouth; the radial lip lines above the upper lip; and marionette lines, or smile lines, at the corners of the mouth. Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine can also help add volume, such as restoring hollow cheeks caused by fat atrophy; filling acne scars and other depressions or blemishes; contouring the jawline; correcting indentations or unevenness on the nose or chin; and reducing the appearance of tendons and veins that become prominent as hands age.

Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine usually lasts around 18 months or longer, so your patient should return about every 1 and a half to 2 years for another filler treatment to maintain their results.

To be considered for a treatment with Radiesse, individuals should be above the age of 18 and have a healthy immune system. You should not treat patients who are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in this product, or who have a history of serious allergic reaction or anaphylaxis. Do not use to treat pregnant or breastfeeding patients, or in children under 18 because researchers have not studied the safety of this filler in these groups.

Radiesse offers an alternative to HA-based fillers that may not be suitable for some patients. Radiesse has been shown to produce equivalent results with less volume, meaning that this product provides better value with each syringe.

Your patient could experience Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine side effects at the injection site such as pain, tenderness, swelling, discoloration, and itching, although these should usually resolve within about a week. Applying ice or a cool compress to the treatment area for the next 24 hours can help. If you incorrectly place the filler, your patient could have some lumpiness at the injection site. According to the manufacturer, there have not yet been reported cases of serious granulomatous reactions, with masses of immune cells accumulating at the site of inflammation. The injection could also cause an infection. These may not be all the potential Radiesse (+) 1.5ml with Lidocaine side effects.
